As part of our star family and another ourself we would love to know more about you. What brought you to Galactic Spacebook and what facets are you most interested in?
This summer I was drawn to explore the 13 Moon synchronistic system. I study from many different sources, and my recent path has been through Spiral Dynamics, Pathwork Lectures, Kryon channelings, locally sourced healing, psychic and telepathic training, and most recently the symbology and works of elder brother José Arguelles, who I met in the early 1970s. I am "in over my head" at the moment, many factors to absorb. It feels good to be a "newbee" in this multifaceted realm. One of my life callings is "to make things make sense to people" and I'm beginning a new work entitled "I'm not better than you", I prefer not to use vernacular, and vocabulary that will set off alarm bells in others. There is a straight-forward "This is my truth anyhow" way that I interact with people . . . not coming off as "too woo-woo", and yet . . . if you pay attention, I'm pretty far out there. And rather unapologetically so. I am a child of the sixties, now in my sixties myself. It's an interesting time to live. I journal and draw, filling multiple volumes each year (I make the books myself and use a fountain pen). I've adopted the name "Seattle Book Lady" because I'm always carrying a book and jotting down this or that.
We've noticed that, more often than not, it is a fascinating story when someone shares how they learned about the Law of Time/13 Moon Calendar/Dreamspell. How or when did you learn about it? :)
I think José might have been teaching it when I met him in 1971. But mostly I was nudged within the past few months to explore "that 28-day 13 month system" and discovered the day outside time was coming up soon. It wasn't until I began poking around that I discovered this was the gift through José. I was delighted and challenged. His stuff always seemed so other-worldly that it was beyond my grasp. But, tho the handholds aren't easy for me yet, I am finding it a comfortable homebase for some of my footing.
What are your favorite books/music/art/movies?
My favorite books are the books I write myself. I enjoy listening to audio books and have found books in public domain (at librivox.org) to explore. I enjoy color play and work in water-based art materials. (Acrylic paints, watercolor, etc.) I enjoy the movie Princess Bride whenever I can find it, have such a wide field of interests that anything goes. I love jazz music and the self-curated stations I've put together on Pandora.com. Abstract art draws me.
