Almost every college or university in the U.S.

Almost every college or university in the U.S. requires that their students take up internship programs as part of their course program. The internship program helps students apply their learned skills in real life working experience. The program lasts for a few months, during this time, the employer gives the student tasks that align with their class work to ensure they can relate the learned theoretical concepts with practical and real-life situations. Some colleges will accept summer jobs as a substitute of the internship program as long as the employer can evaluate the student using a pre-defined method.

You can call, write, or visit them and request for internship or summer job opportunity details. Ensure you send or leave your resume behind so that the employer has a way of contacting you later. Fifth, complete applications and get ready for interviews. Ensure you fill all required forms as accurately as possible. Look for interview tips so that you do not get surprised by questions that may come up in the interview. Dress appropriately for the interview and show up for the interview in good time; not too early and not late.
